Last night at about 2am (alright, this morning) I realized that I had not yet put myself deeper in debt by registering for PyCon, but that if I didn’t do it immediately I would be in even worse shape since the early registration price was only $195. According to the page, the price should have changed on the 15th, but I suppose the good folks at the PSF had not awakened at midnight to bump the price up.

Briefly,
PyCon : February 23-25, 2007, Addison, Texas (near Dallas)
Chances are I will only be there Friday and Saturday. I will definitely not be there for the tutorials, regrettably, but the bumps the price significantly which is something I can’t really do right now. On the other hand, if I can afford to stay up there an extra night I am inclined to stay for the Sprint Days. In any case, it will be nice to hang out with folks from around the country and world who know what language is the best. I’ll be taking pics and keeping commentary on the old Powerbook as long as she’ll keep running.
