The return of open comments…

As a precursor to restarting the content, I’ve turned off closed comments.  Let the spam begin, or alternately let askismet do a good job.  Results of this will determine the initial setting on reload.

    Akismet is awesome, isn’t it? Granted, my blog’s only gotten about 50 spam messages so far, it’s not exactly well frequented.

    And it’s a shame I had to delete some of the messages. I liked some of the quotes it put up. But if you let one in…

    @Sarah: Akismet is indeed quite awesome. Only received one spam comment in moderation since re-opening, so it looks like a go!

    @KC Hi there, KC. Welcome to the most nearly empty blog on the planet. Like Sarah said so eloquently, my blog also is “not exactly well frequented” - especially by me.
